This year, we bring back our Signature Christmas Plum Cake — a festive treat crafted patiently over two months, blending India’s love for fruit-rich plum cakes with Italy’s heritage of artisanal holiday bakes.

Plum Cake Made the Slow, Traditional Way

Chianti’s preparation begins long before December arrives. We soak a curated mix of cashews, almonds, raisins, and cranberries in a blend of rum and wine for two full months. This slow infusion gives the fruits their deep, rounded flavour — the kind that only time can create.

The batter is warmed with classic Christmas spices like ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Once the soaked fruits are folded in, the cake bakes into a moist, aromatic dessert that carries the essence of the season in every bite.
