August’s handcrafted pasta special, on the menu for one month only.

Caramelle: a traditional pasta shape from Emilia-Romagna, named for the sweet it resembles. A sheet of pasta twisted shut at both ends, filled with ricotta, mushroom and spinach, finished in a light mushroom cream sauce. Ours are rolled from spinach dough.

A tavola non si invecchia. At the table, no one grows old.

Our Candlelight Menu: a three-course dinner for two. Two drinks, two appetisers, two mains, and one dessert to share. The table is yours for the evening.

Caramelle start as a flat sheet of spinach dough. Filled with ricotta, mushroom and spinach, then wrapped and twisted shut at both ends - like a sweet, hence the name. Each one pinched by hand. August’s handcrafted pasta special at Chianti.

Crisp on the outside, caramel mousse within. Chocolate soil, toasted walnuts, a caramel crisp on top. The Meringa alle Noci is August's dessert special at Chianti.

1. A silky spinach polenta topped with mushroom, goat’s cheese and basil pesto.

The sweet finish at Chianti.

Tiramisu: classic or eggless, coffee-soaked, mascarpone, almond biscotti.
Torta di Agrumi: bright, zesty, light - July’s special.
And the Bomba di Cioccolato: warm, molten, cold ice cream on the side.

Four pastas.

1. Pesto di Spaghetti con Burrata e Pomodoro: spaghetti tossed in a rich basil pesto, topped with fresh tomatoes and creamy burrata, finished with parmesan.
2. Fettuccine ai Funghi: fettuccine in a velvety mushroom and garlic cream sauce, tossed with baby spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and parmesan.
3. Ravioli del Chianti: handmade ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta, finished with warm butter, sage and parmesan.
4. Sacchetti Rosa (July’s special): pink pasta parcels stuffed with caramelised onions and ricotta mousse, finished in a velvety gorgonzola cream sauce. On the menu till 31st July.
